Summary: First of all, make sure you are not pregnant. If you are not pregnant and still have lower abdominal cramps, the underlying causes are very broad. If symptoms persist you could benefit from evaluation by a physician. Broad categories could include ovarian cysts, ovarian torsion, cystitis, cervicitis, appendicits, etc...Again the list is too long and a consultation could help differentiate causes.
