Spondylolisthesis: Spondylolisthesis at your age means there may be a weakness of the bones called a pars defect. It allows for abnormal translation (slippage) of one bone on the other. It is a chronic problem but can cause acute pain like you are having by its effect on the disc between the bones: it may be now bulging out or "herniated". You should see your doctor for some treatment.

Be seen: Multiple potential causes. But certainly among them would be an aggravation of your underlying spondylolisthesis. I would not hesitate to be seen, many good treatment options available..

Not likely the cause: Spondylolisthesis is common and not usually associated with pain. If you are having severe back pain, it is best to be evaluated by a physician. Keep in mind, most back pain is from muscle or ligaments sprains or strains.
