Anti-nausea meds: There are many side effects from cancer medications. The primary one is nausea and vomiting. These can be very effectively treated with anti-nausea medications. Another common side effect is poor appetite. There are certain drugs that are derivatives of marijuana that can help stimulate the appetite. Low blood counts also can occur. These can be treated with granulocyte stimulating factor.
