Antibiotics can: cause a change in the taste. Discuss your concerns with your health care provider and see if alternatives are appropriate for you.

Metronidazole?: Several drugs can cause altered taste. One of the most common is metronidazole, which often is used for "stomach inflammation", especially due to Helicobacter pylori, as well as other abdominal infections. It's unpleasant but not harmful. However, if severe, ask your doctor about possible alternative antibiotics.
