Cause of discharge: needs to be determined. The treatment will depend on what is causing it. Leukorrhea requires no treatment. Yeast infection would be treated with an anti-fungal. Many STD's are treated with antibiotics.

Depends: On the cause of the vaginal discharge. Each cause have different treatment that range from topical anti candidiasis to antibiotics to metronidazole and etc. See your PCP
