You said you are: feeling fine now - so that suggests that there has been a therapeutic effect. I suspect you are asking how long to be on the medication for therapeutic effect. Since I don't know your diagnosis - can't really say. However, I normally treat people with major depression for a full year after they have had a rebust response to medications. Some psychiatrists treat for a shorter period.
