Iron supplements: Your stomach hurting may come from taking the iron supplement on an empty stomach. Iron supplements can irritate the stomach, making it best to take them with food. This could help with tolerating zoloft (sertraline) also, and the plasma level will be higher than if taken on an empty stomach. There's no interaction between iron and zoloft (sertraline); they're safe together.

Iron/zoloft: Mixture is ok but both are recommended to be taken on full stomach.
