Good question : Good question with your concern you might have depression. You may need an antidepressant or just talk therapy. Have you asked your prescriber? You need to do so. If you have doubts get a consultation. If that is what you are asking here say so. I am happy to do so. Adderrall is safe in most with ADHD and can have side effects.

Yes: It is a stimulant. May not worsen Depression but may mania was. At 18 years it will depend on your symptoms. The medication is usually helpful when younger in school. But some adults do benefit in focus at work. Many insurance are resistant to covering for the medication in adults.
