I noticed a purple discoloration on my areola 3 days ago. it's tender to the touch but not warm. i'm not pregnant. i had a hysterectomy 8 years ago. i do not take anything other than a multivitamin. should i worry about the discoloration?

Get evaluated: It will be a good idea to get evaluated by a physician. It could a cyst, bruise due to trauma, lipoma, galactocele to mention few possibilities.
