A member asked:

Diagnosed with trichomonias on 9/12/17 and given an antibiotic treatment that was completed on 9/19/17. almost a month later, 10/14/17, having a discharge that consists of mucous and blood with a slight faint odor. could i still have trichomonias?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly : Was the partner treated at the same time, and no sexual activity, during or immediately after treatment (ping pong effect). If so, then the medication (usually Metronidazole) may not have been effective. Get yourself tested again.
