Damage.: Swelling and blue are good indicators that something is amiss with the ankle. There are certain conditions that could make traumatic conditions painless. Without more history, it would be best to have your ankle examined to make sure that there is nothing seriously wrong.

Be seen: Without more information, would be difficult to say what the cause is, I would encourage you to be seen. Blue discoloration can be from injury, vascular issues or inflammatory conditions. Don't hesitate to be seen for an accurate diagnosis.
