Take a test: If you are inconsistent with taking pills daily your risk of contraceptive failure goes up. If your pregnancy test is negative, you may have spotting and cramping from pill inconsistencies. Consider using condoms also this month, and talk to your doctor about reversible forms of contraception that don't require you to remember a daily pill.
