A member asked:

Does high uric acid mean my kidneys are not capable enough to excrete it? if yes will my kidneys eventually fail?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

High uric acid.: A high uric acid level in the blood means you’re either producing too much or excreting too little. Testing can help figure out which applies to you. If you’re an under-excreter, it doesn’t mean your kidneys are guaranteed to fail.
