Hello. i have been diagnosed with cellulitis of the toe, on antibiotics, no fever. not getting better, it's super itchy, yellow callous blisters.help.

Re-check, soon.: Cellulitis can be caused by any number of bacteria and fungi. Without knowing the specifics, I'm afraid your only coarse is to have your toe re-examined, cultured and the appropriate antibiotic, anti fungal medications dispensed.

Urgent care : Studies show when an abscess develops you need to have it cleansed irrigated and incision and drainage performed. Update tetanus vaccine. Please let a MD examine. Good luck.

Be seen: You would want to be seen in followup. There are multiple possible reasons an infection does not respond initially to antibiotics: needs more time, wrong antibiotic, poor blood flow, development of resistant organism, development of an abcess just to name a few possibilities. Discuss the specifics of your case with your doctor.
