Get checked: What you describe is likely a vagal (automatic) response to an injury. It is kind of like a safety system to prevent further injury to the body. It will pass soon. What you really need is to have the cut evaluated by your family physician to see if it needs stitches or other treatment. Perfume is not usually a good antiseptic.
