Flatulence.: Passing of gas in a pattern that’s different than usual - different in frequency or intensity - could be from a momentary dietary change. But if it’s different in a longer term, especially with bloating that does not abate, then there may be something else going on, such as malabsorption of lactose or gluten or maybe an issue with your gallbladder or pancreas.
