A member asked:

Can you still cry if you have sjgren's syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Sjogren's affect basal tears that are constantly secreted and we don't feel. They are from millions of microscopic glands in the conjunctiva. Crying is from lacrimal large gland that usually is not affected by Sjogrens. Although it may if extremely severe. In other diseases like sarcoidosis of lacrimal gland there may be a cessation of crying.
