Which pills are better for treating pms? birth control pills or pills that make you no longer have periods?

The best kinds are: non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) such as Motrin or Naprosyn would be safer to take than birth control pills. Magnesium and folic acid have also been shown to help. Herbal remedies including black cohosh and some oils have been used to some success by others. If you have to use birth control pills or even Provera shots, just make sure to try it only for a short term solution
