Hard to know: Clicking, feeling of fullness in one or both ears, sound of water in the ears; these are potential signs of eustachian tube dysfunction. That is, inflammation and obstruction of the tube that drains fluid from the inner ear and into the throat. It is very common and usually self-resolves. Clicking could also be a jaw issue and the flowing sound could also be from an artery in the neck.
