Little or no risk: Inanimate objects like electronics (cell phones, keyboards, computer mouses, thumb drives, etc) are unlikely to transmit staph or other infections. But if you insist, light wiping with a cloth damp (not dripping) with alcohol, soap, bleach, or any common household cleaner probably would be sufficient and I would think would be safe for the device.
