Post partum bleeding: Post partum bleeding generally lasts 4 to 6 weeks after delivery. In the case of breastfeeding, uterine involution (shrinking back to normal size) is generally rapid. Present this problem to your OB MD as there may be a piece of placenta left behind which is causing the bleeding, and make sure that your are not pregnant again if you have not been using contraception with a pregnancy test.
