Be seen: Sometimes fractures can bleed and that can potentially track to other areas of the leg and cause pain and swelling, so it may be "normal". But because having a fracture puts you at increased risk for blood clot, I would let your doctor know immediately and see if further work up such as a Doppler ultrasound needs to be done.
