No: The active ingredient in red wine is Resvatrol, which comes from grape skin, This is what is touted to give red wine its antioxidant health benefits. Alcohol is a toxin to the liver. The damage done by the alcohol in red wine far outweighs any health benefits from its antioxidants. Therefore I cannot recommend red wine as anything that is beneficial to your health. Get a resvatrol supplement.
