Post creation: depression - is a term that someone coined. I believe it is used to describe a sense of emptiness/ lack of mission/ low mood that may occur after someone has completed a major creative endeavor. It is like a sense of let down after having been intensly involved in a project.

Not a diagnosis: Post creation depression is a term used by some to refer to the experience of completing a task and having a sense of nothing to do. Many creative people obsess and overthink which can be depressing and lead to hopelessness. Anyone experiencing depression may benefit from an evaluation and therapy to adjust their thinking and coping while maintaining creativity. Best regards for good health.
