Usually in week or +: The half-life of this medication is about 5 hours, so after a week, most of this drug will be out of your system. Talk with your doctor for the reasons you stopped the medication, as sometimes this class of meds may take several weeks to reach optimum effect. If you had an allergic reaction to the drug, or unpleasant side effects, let your doctor know and he/she can substitute a different drug.
