Cut toenail: The toenail needs to be cut at angle so that it does not cut into skin and a wedge of cotton is placed between toenail and skin so that itvdoes not cit into the skin. Continued soaking to calm inflammation is necessary. There are some individuals who are prone to recurrent ingrown nails and it can be familial .A permanent phenol procedure by podiatrist may be necessary.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
