2nd rx for bladder infection.burning sore red vulva, infrequent periods. last bleeding started only with straining and was bright red(dont think it was from rectum). the bleeding turned brownish and then red while straining again.perimenopause?

Can't say.: The color of vaginal blood is of no clinical significance. Brown blood is older blood being expelled from the uterus. Red blood can be fresher blood. Sore red, vulva could be related to yeast infection, friction, dryness. Don't know how infrequent your periods actually are. There isn't a way to say with the available information. Consider medical eval. Take care.

Periods: Consistent with premenopausal period. However discuss with treating physician about UTI recurrence. He may consider evaluation for anatomic cause of UTI
