Possibly: I assume you are referring to a surgical abortion and not a spontaneous miscarriage. I suggest a comprehensive GYN exam, blood testing and a pelvic ultrasound.

Yes: Every time you traumatize the uterus (presume she was not taking the after pill to abort) , you have induced some injury and possibly scarring. Having 2 abortions within 6 weeks should prompt one to take precautions (BCP or condom). Nonetheless if your partner can get pregnant within 6 weeks after an abortion, it is unlikely that a couple of D/C would slow down her fertility.
