Mental depression ?: Taking "Valium 5mg and Benadryl 50 mg" should not be harmful, but the effects of ongoing ingestion of both in the amounts stated will quickly cease to be effective. Best is to see a mental health professional for appropriate medications for grief/depression, and continued therapy .
