Sore nipples: Sore nipples are a side effect of micronor (norethindrone). The symptom may reduce over time, but some soreness could persist during treatment

Few weeks to months: For the first few months after starting a birth control, breast and nipple pain can occur. Typically this will go away slowly during the first few months.
