Sounds like: whatever it was it may now be infected. Hot moist packs and if this does not help seek input by Medical Professional.... Hope this is helpful Dr Z

Needs to be examined: Hi Hard to say exactly because it depends on what you were bitten by. If it was an animal, you need to be seen as soon as possible. Also, if it is a very large area, is very red and tender and getting worse, or is blistering and oozing, then you still need to be seen. Hope this helps
