I have a 2year old son who now and then suffers from constipation he was hospitalised but nothing wrong it occurs now and then now, how can manage it?

Stool retention: 2yo kids are busy explorers who like to do what they want & avoid doing what they don't. By 2 they have learned they can hold a poop. If they do, the delay allows the stool to bulk up & dry & cause pain with passage.I would find a developmental pediatrician or pedi-GI specialist to help you with a program to end this pattern. It can take up to a year but is easier to fix at 2 than at 12.
