A member asked:

30 weeks pregnant -abdominal period cramping, braxton hicks more than usual and gas that feels stuck?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be preterm labor: Those regular contractions could be preterm labor. One should be checked out by her Ob-Gyn doctor. That may mean going to the hospital and staying in the Labor and Delivery ward to be monitored to see what is going on. Meanwhile, a patient should avoid physical activities or having sex until getting checked out. A baby born at 30 weeks is much too early, so hopefully the uterus calms down.
