Throat pain: Several conditions can cause throat pain, like yeast infections, viral infections like herpes and others, inflammation due to acid reflux, ulcers, effects of medications like tetracyclines, even something stuck in the throat like a fish bone. Please see an ear nose and throat doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

It is possible: Go see an ENT doctor so he/she can look down your throat and see what's going on. Remember, safe sex includes your mouth/throat. Good luck.
