hello, i had my iui 24 hrs after the trigger shot. could you please let me know how long does sperm can live inside the uterus.is 24 hr ideal or 36?

Spermatozoa: The life span of spermatozoa depends on the location of the sperm. After IUI, the spermatozoa can survive inside uterus upto 5 to 6 days. It is good to note that fertilization usually occurs within 24 hours from the time of ovulation. Good luck.

Not sure: ask the doctor who did the iui what they are talking about. if the sperm was placed in the uterus that would make the issue a mute point
