FDA package insert.: In the US, the FDA mandates that each prescription be dispensed with a "package insert" describing the medication's dosing, uses, side effects, & contraindications. According to that insert, patients should have told their doctor about hypertension before taking Mefenamate. If you did, it should be OK to take. If you stop/start any meds, tell your doctor (again) that you're taking Mefenamate. GL.
