Cystocoele: Cystocoeles are not "dangerous", but if they progress, may interfere with sexual activity. Surgical correction should be a last resort unless pain or incontinence occurs. At age 53, you should consult your GYN about estrogen supplements, which may help prevent further prolapse of the cystocoele.
