A few possibilities: Maybe irritation from sex. If itchy and red, perhaps yeast infection (thrush). If painful, and especially if blisters or sores, probably herpes. Many people have herpes without symptoms and can transmit to partners without knowing anything is wrong. Condoms reduce but do not eliminate herpes risk. See a doctor ASAP for easiest diagnosis and effective Rx, e.g. an NHS GUM clinic.
