Follow doe damage: I wouldn't want to handicap that question, especially if you have a family history of macular degeneration or are a smoker. Have a complete eye exam in 6 to 8 months with OCT of macula and threshold visual field to see if your macula starts to thin and underperform your peers. Best wishes
