My thyroid dosage was reduced from 100mcg to 88mcg. as a result, my period came late and flow only lasted for 2 days. is dosage change the cause?

Maybe: It might be, however I assume that the MD did a TSH blood test to determine the dosage change. Certainly, a TSH will be done after you have been on the new dosage for at least 2 months. You can journal your periods during that time for documentation to the MD when you return.
