Retin A or Retinalde: Retin A is more acidic than retinaldehyde, therefore it can cause more irritation to the skin . Retin A can also cause sunburn or irritation when skin is exposed to the sun. It is advisable to use sunblock when using Retin A Retinaldehyde is an acceptable alternative to Retin A but it is not as potent. See your doctor for more information.
