It depends: Most infants shed off the hair on the depending sides of the scalp from friction. Depending side means the side she/he lays on most of the time. For instant, laying on the back produces a semicircular hais loss on the back of the head. The hair will grow back around 1 year-old. Not to worry. If that is not the case, ask your pediatrician.
