Sorry, it's too much: Kids and teens should have yearly check-ups from preschool age through high school. The doctor helps make sure kids do not get overweight. Any girl approaching the 200 pound mark would be concerning and mean a caring exam and lab tests. We want to see if a girl has low thyroid, high cortisol, polycystic ovary, pre-diabetes, or just takes in too many daily calories. There is a solution to be found.

By a long shot: A 5'8" 16 yo female hits the frankly obese range at 190 lb. The high end of normal weight range at that height would be 173 with a population average of 135. So this weight places the person at 75 lb above a weight considered in the normal range. Time for a medical evaluation and some work.
