Examination required: To look for swelling and range of movement. Usually turns out to be bad bruising but difficult without doctor assessment to reassure you re your question

If there is: bleeding there will (usually) be BRUISING which may not show up for 12-24 hours! To limit this ICE ELEVATE COMPRESSION! Hope this helps Dr Z
