No , this is common: combiination. There are more concerns if the mother is Rh negative, in that if the infant is +, the mother may develop antibodies that can affect the fetus. Fortunately, there is a product available now called Rhogam which is given during and after pregnancy in this senario, which is has made the "Rh incompatibility" problem quite rare.
