New exposures may...: That sounds like too much testing already! However, future exposures may lead to future testing. New sexual activities of a typical nature with a typical number of people who have a typical amount of risk can qualify one for getting screened for STD's once or twice a year, if having no symptoms. If having symptoms, testing is not "screening" but is called diagnostic testing.
