I'm in a new country & need to switch from petogen to depo-provera. i have had implanon (3 years) removed prior to going on petogen two months ago. i am concerned about changing from nxt - petogen and now to depo-provera. would this have a neg impact?

Same Medication: Depo Provera and Petegen are basically the same medication. You shouldn't notice a big difference switching from one to the other. Best wishes!

No: As far as I can tell, they seem to be comparable medications. As such, the side effect profile should be similar. Since you've been on Depo-Provera before with good tolerance presumed; I would expect the transition to Petogen to be uneventful. Good luck!
