Vaseline!: In my opinion, gently removing the scab with Vaseline over a few days and then keeping it moist with more Vaseline and a bandaid while it heals without a scab works best to leave as little scar as possible. Watch for signs of infection (advancing redness around the wound or increasing pain) and good luck!
