Get checked: Many possibilities - could be tonsil infection, cervical adenitis (neck gland infection), or referred pain from an ear problem or issue in the salivary glands. May also be a muscular or nerve problem in the neck itself. Plus many others. Needs doctor examination to sort out the possibilities and this should be done urgently if fevers, limb weakness or breathing or swallowing problems.
