Akathisia?: Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) effect serotonin ( & indirectly dopamine) which can affect our muscle function though uncommonly. SRRI can cause a dis-equilibrium of metabolites which if severe can also cause mulscle spasm.Most likely, it is the anxiety and depression that are contributing to your symptoms.
